Zombie choo choo

I made another game for Ludum Dare (I will post more on that later, the game can be found at http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=14225).

I had some weird inapproriate music to go along with it, which I like. It’s simple. A loop I made with Sid Wizard, a great tracker for the Commodore 64 (http://csdb.dk/release/?id=131846) . I’m still working out how to use all the possibilities.I don’t have much experience with trackers and the SID chip takes some learning too, but it’s fun!

On the track there are some “Choo Choo” sounds I made on a Commodore 64 as well with a program I made myself (C64 organ).
I made the program to be able to use a C64 as a backing chord instrument and the latest changes make it possible to  use paddles for pulse and filter sweeps (it was a single take live recording for this track).
I’m quite pleased with the way it sounds and I have  some more plans for my program. So more about that too!

The music in the game also has some weird effect I made with my guitar and some effects, but here is a version with just the Commodore sounds.
