I’m taking a short drawing course (‘about time, you loser!’). This week we worked with a dip pen. I’ve used them before, but never liked them.
With hindsight I think it is because I was using the wrong paper.

Today I was goofing around with it some more, just drawing lines, getting a feel for it, sometimes adding some text.

Then I drew something, reminded me of an eye, added some text and liked it.

EDIT: I didn’t add other pics before, because the texts were in Dutch, but now I’ve decided that I can add a translation as a caption.

Not sure if people find everything funny, but it was to me.

Wanted to draw a Panda, but didn’t know of the top of my head what they looked like 😀

Irony: covering up a stain, then adding text and making more stains. Being patient enough to let the ink dry is a major challenge for me.

I took a quick look how to draw a Panda (still not right ,but recognizable now). The eyes turned out quite sad, which gave me the idea for the text.

I really like the weird vulture like thing, but that has nothing to do with the text. I was drawing storks because of the black and white and I had a orange marker lying close by.
